For anyone old enough to have had a PS1 in it's heyday, this might seem awfully familiar. For everyone else, Demolition Derby: Crash Racing is exactly what you would expect; a game about racing cars and causing destruction.

What is Demolition Derby: Crash Racing?

This is a free game that lets you race around in junkers, causing mayhem and trying to win races or destroy your opponents. It's not an especially deep game, but the gameplay is engaging and fun enough to warrant a play. If you're familiar with the classic PS1 title Demolition Derby, then this should be old hat.

Should You Get Demolition Derby: Crash Racing?

As a free download, it's worth a go at least. There are in game purchases to be made but they're not essential to enjoy the experience this provides. The game modes are varied enough and extensive enough to keep casual to reasonable gamers interested and the progression system is solid. If you're looking for a decent way to while away the hours then you could do worse than Demolition Derby: Crash Racing.
