Maui the Shapeshifter is a premium adventure game for PC by developed Play On Worlds. In this 2D Metroidvania-style side scroller, players will assume the role of a demigod with the powers to shapeshift into different animals, and his quest to save his home from an evil army invasion set forth by an otherworldly creature. 

Beast transformation 

The game follows the adventures of the titular Maui, a demigod able to shapeshift into animal-like beasts and creatures as he faces a corrupt creature called Cemyk. Explore a large open map with multiple unique biomes, including forests, caves, and volcanoes as you face various enemies and solve environmental puzzles on your way to face a great evil. 

The game features a customizable slot system that lets you combine different skills and upgrades, and come up with your distinct play style. The experience is complemented by a beautifully hand-painted art style. As of this writing, though, there is still no specific release date for Maui the Shapeshifter yet, so keep your eyes peeled.
