During your journey, you can meet some friends who can be on your side, like the sassy bee Pip, Sir Eddler, the adventurous mole, the wise turtle Silja, the brave owl Minna, and the basketball buddy Snokko. Each character has their own great dialogue and backstories. You can chat with them and discover the surprises they have in store for Ruffy.

There are also side quests to discover alongside saving Riverside. You can heal the forests of Riverside with Etoi or team up with the fish gang and defeat the bully sharks. You can use water manipulation mechanics as well to solve environmental puzzles and defeat enemies. However, while the game contains a story, it lacks depth, and it is not ideal for players seeking a deep plotline or a more immersive gaming experience.
