This game follows the same general premise, although your specific mission revolves around rescuing the missing songstresses.

This game features high-resolution graphics in a 2.5D environment. This makes the spacecraft appear more stylish and even the bullets more visually appealing, adding to the immersion of the game. Its clearly outlined storyline is equally engaging, thanks to its use of anime-style character designs appearing in between stages. Also, the set design is worth mentioning. Unlike traditional left-to-right shooters, this goes in different directions, adding challenge and variety. 

Lastly, the sound effects fit every moment perfectly, with the soundtrack and voice-over work rounding up the game. It even features reworked soundtracks from different games in the franchise. The game has recently expanded its language support, now offering English and Traditional Chinese in addition to Japanese. Also, the controls can be tough to master at first, but once you’ve mastered it, it’s great overall.
