Machinicide is a premium action game for PC developed by Gravity Shenanigans. It is a first-person boomer shooter set in a futuristic world wherein robots have turned evil, threatening the peace and existence of all life. Players will embark on a mission to defeat this rogue army by using everything they can get their hands on as a weapon.

Evil robot army

Machinicide takes place in the distant future, wherein an evil robot army is overrunning the world. You will be going on a perilous mission to defeat this menace using diverse weapons. You also have access to a large skill tree that lets you wield special powers, including telekinesis, controlling gravity, and many more abilities that will give you an edge in battle.

Ammo management is not really a thing in this game, as you can literally turn robots into weapons and use them against each other. Hence, you can essentially use anything you can grab as a means of destruction. Now, one area where the game needs more work is performance. Even with capable PC hardware, it runs inconsistently, resulting in various lags and stutters.

Solid entry into the genre

If you're a fan of boomer shooters and are looking for something new to try, Machinicide is a solid choice you can check out. It's fun, action-packed, and has that charming retro aesthetic that fans love. Hopefully, the performance issues mentioned above will be addressed as soon as possible.
