Light Unseen revolves around the story of a secret underground civilization beneath Earth's surface that is divided into three layers. You play as Sion and live with your family in the lowest layer called Edels Town. You will go on a grand adventure to explore dungeons, get stronger, and earn the right to ascend to the middle layer.

There are multiple locations to explore in the game's dark underground world. Combat revolves around paired with various skills you unlock as you level up. Harvest roots and crystal for crafting items and go through two possible endings depending on how the story goes. Despite all that, the gameplay is relatively short.
