The game takes place in a dark fantasy realm wherein you play as the titular warrior, Intra, who is tasked with defeating a massive horde of monsters and rescuing the Gravgasians. Battles take place in a hex-based grid that also features a unique landscape that is divided into different elevations and branching paths, requiring you to be more mindful of the battlefield.

Intra - Tower Defense provides you with a wide assortment of upgradable towers with different vertical and horizontal attack ranges to consider. They can also be damaged and destroyed, so be mindful of their HP. Tower placement is of the utmost importance, given that enemies adapt their behavior to the situation. Some will take the shorter, safer route, so sure you have defenses put up.

What's more, you can employ over 20 skill combos that you can pick and utilize to help gain a tactical advantage in battle. These will come in handy when you need to face final bosses at the end of each stage. What sets Intra apart compared to other tower defense games is skill combos, height difference, epic bosses and destroyable towers.

More complex tower defense experience

All in all, if you're a fan of the tower defense games and are looking for something new and different to try out, Intra - Tower Defense is worth considering. From its unique approach to level design and clever AI behavior, this is one that will pose a nice challenge to veterans of the genre. However, some players found the difficulty off putting.
