In Search of Heroes! is an action game developed and published by MACHINE GUN CHICKEN STUDIOS LLC for PC. In this pixelated world, players delve into the world and age of heroes to play as one and lend a hand to those who need it. 

Playable from the top-down perspective, In Search of Heroes! delivers a high-risk, combat-filled playthrough with its hack-and-slash and roguelike action mechanics, making it the perfect title for players who like high-risk, high-reward gameplay. Play as a hero 

Play as one of the archetypes with unique fighting styles here in In Search of Heroes! You take the role of the closed-combat Knight who specializes in an array of melee weapons, the distance-based Ranger who is proficient in long-ranged weapons like bows and arrows, or the summoning Beastmaster whose battle style depends on his conjured friends from the forest on the battlefield. 

The aforementioned heroes can be enhanced by upgrading their unique abilities and enhancing their respective attributes, allowing them to compete in three dangerous biomes that house distinct legions of monsters, mini-bosses, and bosses. In addition, although the game only mentions three archetypes, it has four playable characters to try and master, providing a dynamic experience for players in each playthrough. 

Here, you can also accept quests from the townsfolk and embark on countless journeys to gain rewards, furthering your resources and giving you chances to become stronger as you progress. The game contains 12 base buildings to unlock through persistent upgrades and over 50 powerful artifacts with limitless possibilities. However, since the game features pixel graphics, some players might find the aesthetics too outdated.
