Home from work 2 is a free horror walking simulator. Players come home from work to find their house in darkness and then go from room to room investigating strange noises.

Home to horror

Part of the Home from work series of similar games, Home from work 2 features a new house to explore. Gameplay consists of finding a torch and then using it to explore the pitch-black home, turning on lights and opening doors along the way. The horror elements come in the form of jump scares and noises from an unknown source in a fairly typical manner for the genre. Graphics are basic and pre-designed, the story is short and everything is in service to the horror aspect. Home from work 2 is the work of a single fan of the genre and so is fairly bare bones and should not be considered a full game. However, for those who want a short horror experience, it is serviceable enough.

Cheap and not so cheerful

Home from work 2 is a straightforward walking simulator with some slight scary moments. Released as a small free labour of love for other fans to enjoy, it would be harsh to criticise it as a full release. Those wanting a brief scary experience could do worse.
