Haneda Girl is a premium action PC game developed by Studio Koba. It is a 2D cyberpunk adventure set in the distant future centering around a mech pilot who goes on a dangerous mission to stop a group of hackers from destroying the city and stealing all its data. 

Comparable to games like Soda Crisis or INAYAH - Life after Gods, Haneda Girl incorporates fast-paced combat with both shooting and hack-and-slash mechanics, as players destroy all kinds of robotic enemies. A demo is also available for newcomers to check out and get a preview of the gameplay. 

Neon-soaked world 

Haneda Girl takes place in the futuristic cyberpunk world of Data Empire, a city that is under threat from invasive Hackernauts. You play as Chichi Wakaba, piloting your combat mecha called M.O.T.H.E.R., and go on a dangerous mission to stop this menace from spreading any further as fast and as efficiently as you can while dealing with all kinds of traps and challenges along the way. 

The gameplay lets you switch between two play styles, wherein you can go with your mecha that can soak a lot of damage and shoot bullets, or the titular Haneda Girl, who specializes in melee attacks but is vulnerable to "insta-kill" with a single hit. Destroy various robotic enemies, overcome platforming challenges, and devise the best way to dispose of enemies in the fastest time possible. 

You also get to unlock new weapons for your mech and collect medallions, which provide additional lore into the game's world and its story. The only thing you need to be aware of before diving in is the steep difficulty curve, which, quite frankly, is par for the course with these types of games, but is worth mentioning if you're new to the genre.

Its neon retro visuals combined with intense platforming and combat action make for a compelling gameplay experience that will test your skills and reflexes from start to finish.
