There are multiple maps to choose from. You spawn into the map with all the weapons, ammo, and other equipment such as the jetpack. There are more items you can scavenge throughout the map, but you will have to use your resources wisely if you want to survive. Memorizing enemy spawn zones is strongly recommended. All of these add up to a combat-centric gameplay that many will enjoy.

Is it worth playing?

Half-Life is an old game and with newer titles such as Half-Life 2 and Half-Life: Alyx available in the market, it’s pretty hard to recommend to everyone. However, it’s still worth trying if you really miss the old-school Half-Life gameplay. Don’t expect it to tell a compelling story though, as it only provides a reason for you to keep shooting aliens with a gravity gun.
