Russell is an interesting Fallout New Vegas mod, which comes with a fully-voiced, in-depth male companion for your journey in the game. The primary objective of the free modification is to improve your experience in the Mojave Wasteland. Russell is a former desert ranger, who now works as a bounty hunter.

Compared to Horizon and C&C3 modifications, this New Vegas mod is more powerful. It features over 1,200 lines of dialogs, which have been contributed by a solid community. In fact, you might even meet some of these voice actors in the active forums. The Russell download is a good way to have more fun while playing Fallout New Vegas.

Comes with a new quest for advanced players

Russell can be easily recruited by legion-friendly players. However, it’s important to note that he will instantly attack legion personnel on sight, just like Boone. If you want to enjoy a legion-friendly playthrough, this Fallout mod can cause some trouble.

What’s unique about Russell?

With the Russell download, you get access to a new quest called ‘Hunter, Hunted’. However, this quest should only be attempted by advanced players with level 20 or above. In terms of stats, this New Vegas mod character is comparable to Raul Tejada or Boone. Having said that, Russel is slightly tougher and specializes in melee plus ranged combat.

It’s worth mentioning that this Fallout mod features some profanity. In some instances, it’s more than several other modifications. In the main quest, you will also notice the consequences of multiple massacres. These can be quite graphic. Russell is not meant for people who get easily offended.

The perfect choice to improve your game experience

The Russell mod is backed by a solid community of modders and players. Therefore, while using this New Vegas mod, you will receive constant encouragement from lots of players. The mod can support a wide range of companions, with the exception of the ending slideshow. It’s important to understand that before leaving Caruthers Canyon, you should fire other companions, but ofcourse not Russell.
