These bandits are organized into a seven-tier hierarchy, starting with inexperienced recruits and climbing up to powerful Bandit Lords. This hierarchy makes combat encounters more varied, with enemies who feel like part of a living organization rather than disposable filler.  

Encounters are further diversified by bandits taking on roles such as archers, warriors, and spellcasters, which forces players to adapt their approach in every battle. The encounters are dynamic, since OBIS SE uses leveled lists to replace existing bandits in the game. This means the mod does not overload Skyrim with additional spawns but instead creates more variety using existing systems.
