GUN is a premium action PC game by developer Neversoft. It is an open-world Western adventure that centers around a gunslinger seeking revenge on those who did him wrong. He will go on a path of destruction and bloodshed, armed with nothing but his trusted revolver and ruthless righteousness, one killshot at a time.

Blood-soaked justice

GUN centers around Colton White, a down-on-his-luck gunslinger on a quest for vengeance in the lawless wild west. Visit various locations and towns, meeting a wide cast of characters. Take on all sorts of missions that put you in the crosshairs of corrupt lawmen, warring tribes, and iconic outlaws and renegades with bounty on their heads to claim.

Aside from your six-shooter, use period-accurate weapons like Gatling guns, flaming arrows, and dynamite. Combat features cover mechanics, stealth kills, and using enemies as shields. Unfortunately, poor optimization, frequent crashes, no autosave, and lack of controller support make the experience frustrating, turning what could’ve been thrilling action into a problem-ridden mess.

All hat and no cattle

For everything that makes GUN immersive and compelling, just as many flaws drag it down. It lacks the polish and attention needed to truly shine. Still, if you’re curious about a classic Western title, it’s worth a try—just be ready to face plenty of frustrating hurdles along the dusty trail.
