Zombie survival game during the Middle Ages
God Save Birmingham is an action game for PC by developer Ocean Drive Studios, Inc. It is a survival horror experience set in England during medieval times. Play as the last living survivor in the wake of an undead plague, and they must find a way to survive the aftermath.
Much like The Forest or 7 Days to Die, God Save Birmingham features a large open world for players to explore and gather resources to help them survive. Combined with its unique old-world fantasy setting, it makes for a unique and intriguing gameplay experience.
Medieval zombie apocalypse
God Save Birmingham takes place in the English countryside of Birmingham during the 14th century in a small market town that has been hit by an undead plague, and you are the last living survivor. Alone with nothing but your wits, you must find a way to survive the aftermath, all while dealing with your former friends and acquaintances who have turned into zombies.
Explore the plains of 14th-century Birmingham that have faithfully been replicated to mimic real-world locations and landmarks at the time, including the Burgage Plots, St. Martin Church, and more. Take care of your basic needs like hunger and thirst as you scavenge for resources and craft tools and weapons to defend yourself from encounters with the undead, of which there will be plenty.
The game also employs physics-based mechanics to interact with the environment. Stack objects to create barricades and watch the undead trip over fences. You can even dismember their limbs to render them immobile. If all this sounds intriguing to you, you will have to wait since God Save Birmingham is not out yet. Also, when it does come out, it will be as an Early Access title.
Fight ye undead
