Gal*Gun VR is a virtual reality game that mixes the gameplay of first-person shooters with the plot and trapping of harem anime. The player becomes the most popular boy in the school, who must defend himself from the advances of hordes of admiring girls.

A Shooter With a Humorous Anime Twist

While a first person shooter at its core, Gal*Gun VR forgoes the traditional guns and bullets in favour of something quirkier and more humorous. The main character is armed with a Pheromone Shot, which he can use to give the pursuing girls euphoria. Gameplay involves figuring out where each girl's weak point is, and hitting them where it will have the most effect. Alternatively, if you can get close enough to look into a girl's eyes, she will become "lovestruck" and anywhere in her body will count as a weak point. As well as amorous girls, the player will have to battle anime demons, who can be sent off with a Demon Sweeper.

A New Take on Harem Anime

Gal*Gun VR has a premise that will be instantly familiar to any fan of harem anime, and it uses this to give a new twist on first person shooter conventions. Any FPS fans who has grown tired of conventional guns and wants something more original should give it a look.
