The Origins Mod for Minecraft is getting a sequel. Extra Origins is a mod for Minecraft that offers 3 new sub-classes and backstories for the main character, Steve. Just like the first release, this is also a Fabric mod. This means you will need to install Fabric Leader and Fabric API before running this mod.

Another program you will need to install is Pehkui - a Minecraft mod that enables entities to change their size. In the case of Extra Origins, it will shrink you. Once you get this program running, you will be able to play as the 3 origins. 

Explore new possibilities 

The Extra Origins mod offers 3 new Fabric mods to the sandbox game. Piglin and Inchlin are capabilities. Inchlin downsizes your character that you’ll be able to climb any wall, plants, trees, etc. With your small size, it’s easier to replenish your health and hunger. Another benefit is that you’ll no longer receive fall damage. However, your attack range is limited to 4 blocks. 

Piglin doesn’t turn you into a Piglin. Instead, it prevents your pig-faced opponents from attacking you. You’ll also be able to be given special gold tools that are surprisingly as strong as regular diamond weapons. This capability will only apply when you’re in the Netherworld with the piglins. Florin is a ‘flower person.’ All his abilities are related to growing or interacting with plants. 

One is he can decrease his hunger when he lays under the sun. If there’s no sun, you can eat honey bottles. Just like real plants, Florin becomes weak when it's too hot or too cold. A lush area with rivers and lakes are areas Florin will thrive; he’ll be able to instantly grow plants on land and deliver more damage to enemies when they’re in the water. 

The Extra Origins Mod offers barely a handful of new Fabrics but each of them provides a wide range of abilities. You can utilize each one in specific locations, giving you a big advantage over the other players and non-playable characters. However, you do need to be familiar with running third-party programs and mods. As long as you can install all programs into the game, this mod should run smoothly.
