There are several HDT equipment items that were created by fans to use in skyrim. One example is the grapple pole. If you're wondering where to find this, the authors created an article about it in the skim articles. The author also created a video showing how to get all the pieces and create your own weapon sling.

The question I have is Why is there HDT Equipment for SSE? and How do they make them so realistic looking, when most of them look like toys? I have been looking for some time but could not find it anywhere. Does anyone know something about it, or have they made one yourself? Thanks in advance for your help.

These types of equipment were created for the skyrim mods. The authors obviously made them for skim because most skyrim mods don't have any HDT physics. Only one person seems to have made them, and he was too lazy to make them good, so he made them pretty much from scratch. Hope you enjoyed this little discovery, and thanks for sharing, Jacques! mod | craftable | dual sheath redux | mods} If you want to find out which of the two has the best compatibility with skim, then check out the brawl BugFix Mod Guide.
