Earthion is a premium action PC game from developer Ancient Corporation. It is a 2D side-scrolling sci-fi shooter adventure that takes inspiration from classic 16-bit games for its design and gameplay. It centers around a lone fighter pilot on a perilous mission to repel a massive alien invasion and protect the safety of planet Earth. 

Ace planet defender 

In Earthion, you play as Azusa Takanashi, a space fighter pilot on a mission to defend against an alien threatening Earth. Blast through eight action-packed levels, each with its own unique environment and set of enemies to shoot down. There are also massive bosses waiting at the end of each stage, each with unique attack patterns and requiring unique strategies to defeat. 

Choose from a diverse set of weapons, which you can slowly upgrade and enhance by filling up your shot meter. You also have support drones to provide additional firepower as the challenge gradually ramps up. When the action gets going, there’s a tendency for the background and foreground elements to blend, making it hard to distinguish enemy projectiles.
