A 90s-inspired arcade-style shooter title

Infinos Gaiden is an arcade game developed and published by Picorinne Soft for PC. Illustrated in 2D retro pixel graphics that invoke a sense of nostalgia, this side-scrolling shooter provides seven action-filled stages, where you confront a wide range of enemies to eliminate using shoot-‘em-up mechanics

Fight through various stages

In Infinos Gaiden, you blast through seven intense stages filled with challenging gimmicks, enemies, and massive bosses. Equipped with “bits” that shoot three types of lasers, your strategy and timing become essential. The game’s 90s-inspired pixel graphics, enhanced with rotation and scaling, deliver a nostalgic arcade experience like no other.

The soundtrack by Hyakutaro Tsukumo deepens the atmosphere. Attention to detail is also impressive, from parallax scrolling effects to balanced gameplay difficulty. One downside is the lack of a scanline filter, which could enhance the arcade feel. Also, the absence of a credits system slightly reduces immersion for purists.

A class throwback

Infinos Gaiden offers a throwback to classic arcade shooters with its detailed pixel art and dynamic gameplay. The variety of enemies, powerful “bits,” and intense bosses keep you engaged, while the soundtrack enriches the experience. Minor drawbacks include missing scanline effects and a credits system, but the challenge remains rewarding.
