Dungeonborne Settlement is a premium role-playing game for PC developed by Dersty. It is an idle RPG adventure set in a fantasy world wherein players will be tasked with managing a fledgling settlement. They will gather resources, build all kinds of structures to develop the colony further, and even explore dangerous dungeons in search of treasure. 

From simple beginnings 

In Dungeonborne Settlement, you'll start small as you aim to grow your colony by gathering resources from mines and underground dungeons. However, the latter poses a danger from monsters roaming inside. Send warriors on an expedition to defeat these threats and acquire the materials you need, as well as some treasure along the way. 

Combat is auto-battler style, but you can increase your chances of success with gear, stat points, and researched tactics. Difficulty is adjustable, and you can retreat to keep loot. Despite all that, the gameplay feels dull and repetitive after a while. 

Could be better 

All in all, Dungeonborne Settlement is a good colony sim with RPG elements and idle mechanics. The addition of battle tactics and stats helps make the auto-battle experience more engaging and gives you more control over the outcome. That said, the experience feels a bit lackluster, and it could use more content and variety to keep things interesting.
