Dead Rising 2: Off the Record is the third game in the Dead Rising series, developed by Capcom Vancouver. This action game takes place in the same line of events as the previous games but with the return of the protagonist of the first game, Frank West. Frank, a photojournalist, is back in the town of Willamette, where he finds himself in the middle of a zombie invasion. The game offers a new chance for Frank to succeed, and it's up to the player to help him survive and uncover the cause of the outbreak.

Players will have access to a variety of weapons, including those that can be crafted from improvised means. The game also features new enemies and locations, such as the amusement park "Uranus Zone".
