Crystal Call is free-to-play set inside fractured ruins floating around in mysterious caves. It is a first-person speed running game, where the aim is to avoid obstacles and clear gaps in as short of a time as possible. Through the various maneuvers, the player must make them while maintaining momentum.

This game follows the same gameplay premise as Clustertruck, where the player must use fast reaction times to respond quickly to a moving environment. In this case, the environments are mysterious caves full of strange ruins rather than a cluster of speeding trucks.

Crystal Call takes place from a first-person perspective, and the focus of the movement mechanics is speed. Players must use a variety of tricks, such as dashing, wall-riding, wall jumping, and more, to keep the protagonist from falling from the track or hitting an obstacle. The game features 16 levels to race through, but just getting to the end isn’t the only challenge available. Of course, players can ignore this aspect and just focus on the speed running, but the successful use of shortcuts will improve the player’s finishing time.
