A nice batch converter turning Excel files into CSV files
Convert Excel To CSV simply turns your spreadsheet files from Excel (used by Microsoft programs and various others) to CSV files, which are used by a great many more types of program. It is a pity that the developers want paying for this tool when there are so many free versions on the Internet such as LibreOffice. However, the batch-conversion mode may save some people a lot of time and make the tool worth the money. Cleverly, the trial version allows you to convert files, but will not let you do it in batches.
Pros
- Converts in batches for convenience
- Simple and easy to use
- Set a schedule for larger batches
- Doesn't store sensitive information
Cons
- Asks for money when there are free alternatives
- The trial version has disabled features
- Formatting is sometimes a little messed up
- Excel-only additions are not included in the conversion
