Cold VR is a premium action game developed by Allware LLC. It's a sci-fi-themed first-person VR shooter set in the distant future wherein the virtual world is under threat from a rogue AI program. Players will dive head first as they battle waves of enemies and fight to take back control.

The highlight of the combat is the ability to control time with your movements. However, instead of stopping to activate your powers, you have to keep moving. It's an interesting premise that forces you to think on your feet.

A diverse arsenal of firearms and melee weapons is at your disposal, and there are some platforming elements to break the constant action. There are even Backrooms-inspired levels to unlock for an intriguing horror twist. However, there's still plenty of room for improvement, particularly when it comes to game balance, given the sudden difficulty spikes from one level to the next.

An interesting inversion

Where other games let you stop time to think and compose yourself, Cold VR does the complete opposite, forcing you to be on your feet the entire time.
