Chicken Police: Into the HIVE! is an adventure game developed by The Wild Gentlemen and published by Joystick Ventures for PC. In this animal noir satire title, players step into the shoes of two personified roosters named Sonny and Marty, two prominent detectives, who must solve their biggest case yet.

The narrative of Chicken Police: Into the HIVE! follows the story of the Wilderness’ toughest rooster detectives, Marty and Sonny, who take on the hardest yet most promising case of their careers, prompting them to delve into the insect underworld and uncover a worldwide conspiracy while being forced to confront the ghosts of their pasts that keep haunting them wherever they go. 

Featuring an interactive fiction element, the game showcases 30 intricately developed characters, each fully realized through voice acting. This allows players to tackle various aspects of the game, including conspiracy, loss, and friendship. Additionally, the city of Clawville, set in the world of Wilderness, and its anthropomorphic inhabitants offer rich cultures, traditions, desires, and fears, adding depth to the overall experience. 

Examine gathered evidence and interrogate suspects while exploring over 35 locations within Clawville City to complete main and side missions. It also contains 20 cinematic sequences and an entirely original soundtrack. Meanwhile, although Chicken Police is a noir game, it is playable in colors through technicolor mode. Consequently, due to its genre and nature, it’s unsuitable for young audiences, as it features violence, partial nudity, tobacco, and alcohol abuse.
