A sequel to Castle Doombad Classic
Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha! is a multiplayer strategy game that invites players to the expanded version of their classic tower defense dungeon-keeping puzzler childhood game. This game continues the gameplay of Castle Doombad Classic, offering new content and features. Developed by Grumpyface Studios, it’s available on PCs.
Playing as the villain in Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha! you’re provided with various pre-made traps. If you’re looking for similar games, check out Bloons TD 6, Cuphead, Overcooked 2, and The Jackbox Party Pack 10 — which gives you a classic gameplay experience with elements of strategy, tower defense, and puzzle.
Play as a villain and set up your traps
In Castle Doombad Classic, players portray Dr. Evilstein who kidnapped a princess and locked her in a tower. In Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, that story continues where you’ll still play as a villain. In this game, you must fight against hordes of heroes who were sent to your territory to rescue the captured princess. To successfully defeat them, you need to set traps, monsters, and other deadly obstacles.
The game features 35 pre-made devious traps that you can use and minions that you can deploy to some areas of your place. These traps are manually activated so they need precise timing to launch their powerful attack. While the minions can roam freely around your territory. Additionally, you can play this game solo or with your friends as it offers both multiplayer and single-player options.
For multiplayer mode, you and your friends must choose different traps and tools that you will use so you can rely on each other’s weapons and plan accordingly how you will take down your enemies. Additionally, players can unlock, upgrade, and personalize their traps, troops, and castle depending on their play style. However, as this game focuses on tower defense, it doesn’t have a character development feature.
A must-try for fans of Castle Doombad
For fans of this classic tower defense game, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha! is a must-try game. It’s a direct sequel to the Castle Doombad Classic and continues its story. Just like in its original game, you’ll play as a villain, set traps, deploy your troops or minions, and defeat hordes of heroes who are trying to save the princess.
