Become the richest CEO
CapitalismCraft is a simulation game developed by Most Dangerous Games for PC gaming. In this strategy title, players delve into a capitalistic world where they must hire workers, exploit them to the fullest, and earn as much money as possible to attain the title of the wealthiest CEO.
Rendered in hand-drawn 2D graphics and inspired by games in the 1990s, CapitalismCraft offers casual gameplay and features clicker and idler mechanics, covering elements of comedy, satire, dark humor, and capitalism. This cartoony game also highlights resource and time management, requiring players to balance tasks and utilize assets.
Exploit the workers
In CapitalismCraft, you assume the role of an eagle-eyed CEO. You must hire young and promising workers to perform all company tasks, recruit managers to discipline them if they slack, and appoint specialists to push them past their limits. Then, fire workers before payday to maximize earnings. The goal is to oversee the business and ensure every worker makes money.
Be wary of shareholders, as they can be demanding. You must appease their unreasonable wants without sacrificing your profit. Moreover, watch out for union workers who might recruit other workers and make demands that might hinder you from earning more, like fair wages and labor rights. Squash it as early as possible to stop it from escalating into something bigger.
As the CEO, you must push the hired lowly workers past their limits. Although they might get demoralized over time due to the exploitation, the most important part of the game is to maximize your and your shareholders’ profit. On a completely different note, although this title is engaging, the lack of dynamics makes it fall short of replay value.
Satirical take on capitalism
CapitalismCraft offers an engaging and satirical look at the cutthroat world of capitalism, blending strategy, dark humor, and resource management. Players must balance exploiting workers while keeping shareholders satisfied, all within a casual, clicker-style gameplay experience. While the game’s retro-inspired graphics and humor provide entertainment, the lack of depth and replayability might limit its long-term appeal, which can deter players.
