Shrimp is a free-to-play game that requires players to repeatedly click on an image of a shrimp in order to “gain more shrimp”. It works similarly to games like Banana and Egg, which both have simple — and seemingly mindless — premises that don’t require too much effort. 

Just keep clicking 

As already mentioned, Shrimp’s mechanics are incredibly basic, which makes it ideal for players who prefer a more casual experience. For those who want a challenge, though, reaching a certain number of clicks can allow you to obtain a Steam achievement. 

Additionally, the game provides up to four drops per day every two hours — including background colors, skins, and particles to customize your game with. However, much like similar games in the genre, the gameplay can grow boring and monotonous over time. 

Great for passing time 

Overall, Shrimp is a pretty fun title you can play if you just want to do something quick and simple in your spare time. While its simplicity can be ideal for an uncomplicated game experience, though, it doesn’t really offer much excitement in the long run.
