A non-lethal combat game
Bloodless is a premium single-player action game inspired by Sekiro™: Shadows Die Twice that features a unique and enjoyable counter-based combat system. The battles are thoughtfully designed, offering straightforward gameplay that still demands much skill to outmaneuver and disarm each opponent.
Developed by Point ‘N Sheep, Bloodless works similarly to games like Nine Sols, Hogwarts Legacy, Black Myth: Wukong, and DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO. It gives players an action gameplay experience with a heart-pounding combat system. The game showcases a stylish visual design that combines retro-inspired art with modern techniques and clever color.
Fight with bare fists
The story of Bloodless follows Tomoe, a former samurai who left her home to fight in a brutal war. Once a renowned ronin known for her merciless killings, Tomoe grew weary of the violence and returned to Bakugawa Island, vowing never to wield a sword or harm others again. She must face the ghost of her past as she comes back to Bakugawa.
However, upon her return, she discovered that her homeland was far from peaceful. Her former master, Shogun Akechi, rules the island with an iron fist. In this game, you will be battling against Akechi's forces—your former comrades—using nothing and just your bare fists as you've sworn off weapons and armor. As Tomoe promises not to use her samurai again, you’re not allowed to use any weapons.
To succeed in this game, you need to master dash counters, disarm enemies, and develop your own fighting style with powerful moves and combos. You can enhance your abilities through talismans and collect Warrior Idols that are scattered across Bakugawa to hone your skills further. However, since the game centers on fighting Shogun Akechi’s army, it doesn’t focus on character progression.
Disarm your enemies to win
If you're a fan of action-adventure games with samurai themes, Bloodless is a must-try. It offers a fresh twist on combat with its non-lethal, disarm-focused mechanics, creating a unique experience that stands apart from typical samurai games centered on parrying. In this game, players must refine their dash-counter skills and powerful combos while enjoying the challenge presented by Akechi's army.
