Bear With Me lives and dies by its story, and the story is very strong. It is not an action game: it is mostly a series of still images with small elements that are animated, such as mouths moving and puzzle items glimmering. The aim is to solve a series of puzzles while in the company of your trusty teddy bear. It is an episodic game, which is why this episode stops just as the story gets interesting--it is so you buy the next episode.

Move from one room to the next in this two-dimensional world and progress the story while solving puzzles in each location. Take items from one room and try them in the next, and question NPC characters based on your experience and/or the items you have found. The voice acting is very good, and the story does become interesting and engaging nearer the end as you start to make progress in your hunt for the young girl?s brother. The bear in Bear With Me has a grizzled retired-cop attitude and voice, whereas the girl is young and innocent, which makes for a good contrast.

A point and click adventure for people interested in a story-driven game

What the game lacks in color and action it makes up for with an engaging story and very good voice acting. This game is suitable for people in their twenties and above who are not looking for fireworks and are more interested in an episodic story that starts at a mystery and slowly becomes more of a brainteaser where one starts to question the premise itself. Just remember that the story doesn?t end in Bear With Me episode one: it simply stops and picks up again in episode two.
