In The Legend of Baboo, switching between Sepehr and Baboo adds depth to the gameplay, as each character has unique abilities. Sepehr wields a magical staff for ranged attacks and puzzle-solving, while Baboo uses his claws and super-barking ability to protect his companion. Together, they traverse beautifully crafted environments, from cursed forests to frozen lands, each filled with puzzles and enemies.  

The combat is action-packed yet intuitive, with reactive mechanics and thrilling boss battles. Customization options for Baboo and RPG-inspired skill trees add a personal touch, allowing players to tailor their experience. The game strikes a balance between challenge and accessibility with its difficulty settings. Magical attacks unlocked by defeating bosses add a layer of strategy, encouraging players to experiment with different builds.  

The visuals and music in the entirety of the game work harmoniously to immerse players in the mystical world, making the journey as enchanting as it is exciting. However, the game has limited replay value after completion. Some puzzles can feel repetitive, there are minor performance issues on older systems, and the combat may feel simplistic for hardcore players.
