Bare Knuckle Sandwich, created by the indie developer Raised By Screens for PC, is an action game that indulges players in bare-knuckle boxing. In this adventure, users take the role of Gunner, a guy lost in life, who stumbles upon an underground bare-knuckle boxing ring and joins it. 

Illustrated in classic 2D and pixel art style, Bare Knuckle Sandwich offers a narrative-driven, combat-packed experience and utilizes side-scrolling and beat-'em-up mechanics to deliver a perfect blend of storytelling and action gameplay. This fighting title features atmospheric settings and explores various themes, such as drama, comedy, and violence. 

Play as Gunner 

Bare Knuckle Sandwich follows the story of an ordinary guy named Gunner who is aimlessly navigating his uneventful life until he learns of an underground bare-knuckle boxing ring. Joining this industry as he tries to make something out of a world filled with con artists, grifters, and people just trying to get by, he begins to get his life together with his newfound mentor, striving to get to the top. 

As you step into the shoes of Gunner, you must face various fighters in the ring, each with a distinct fighting style. Defeat these fighters to climb the ladder up to the top and be hailed as the best fighter in the city. However, you must first master the art of quick reaction, accurate dodging, and landing the most devastating strikes on your opponents. 

Fighting is not all that this game has to offer. In between fights, you can interact with the locals through hand-crafted dialogues and explore the rest of the city through cutscenes, allowing you to experience Gunner’s early adulthood stage. However, due to the nature of the game, it depicts mild violence and illegal drugs and mentions sexual activity, which is not suitable for younger audiences.
