Amber Alert is a premium action game from developer Meatbread. In this first-person shooter, players will take on the role of a policeman investigating a report about the whereabouts of a missing person. He arrives at a mysterious house located in a dark and bleak part of town. 

Similar to another game called Baisu, Amber Alert combines a distinct bodycam perspective with psychological horror themes. The result is an unsettling experience that also has plenty of intense action sequences as players come face to face with suspects. The game is slated for release on July 5, 2024. 

Missing person 

Amber Alert is a first-person psychological horror shooter that centers around a policeman who receives an anonymous tip about a missing person. His investigation brings him to a seemingly desolate neighborhood and an eerie house. He soon realizes that he has stumbled upon a cult of abductors who like to kidnap women. Thus begins a terrifying mission to save the victim, defend yourself, and put a stop to a sinister plot. 

With dimly lit streets and blacked-out houses, the darkness is as much your enemy as the masked assailants lurking in the shadows and waiting to strike when you drop your guard. Race against time to rescue a kidnapped girl while evading these malevolent criminals. In the event that confrontations happen, be quick on your feet and react to attacks or else become another one of their murder victims. 

As you progress, discover clues and stumble on crime scenes that help shed light on the mysterious abductions and the twisted rationale of the cult. With multiple paths to take and randomized items and enemy encounters, each run feels different. Now, as of this writing, the game is not out yet, but there are only a couple of days left before it does.
