Childish nightmare

Designed by students as part of a school project, Agnes Doll is a simple horror walking simulator revolving around a few basic puzzles and a narrative driven by chalk drawings and notes. The game is currently mainly in German with only title options in English. Loose plans exist for a translation at some undefined point. This means much of the plot available in game is difficult to understand but overall themes are clear. Players walk around the dark orphanage finding childish drawings and references to a young girl. Jump scares litter the hallway, pentagrams are hidden away in obscure rooms, and voices appear from nowhere. While the game design is nothing new, this general atmosphere is better than most. A single run of the game lasts for around ten minutes and is decent enough for those wanting a straightforward horror experience.
