Abyssus, developed by DoubleMoose Games and published by The Arcade Crew, is a fast-paced, cooperative FPS roguelite adventure set in a unique "brinepunk" world. Form your fireteam and venture into a sunken civilization, battling corrupted denizens and wielding powerful, customizable weaponry and equipment.  It emphasizes teamwork and a mysterious underwater setting.

Abyssus tasks players with exploring the ruins of an ancient, sunken kingdom. This civilization holds a massive brine deposit, attracting the attention of daring "Brinehunters." However, the explorers soon find themselves in a desperate struggle for survival as they awaken the wrath of the kingdom's corrupted inhabitants, with challenging consequences. 

A cooperative plunge into the abyss

Abyssus puts players as these Brinehunters, who must work together to survive the treacherous depths. Cooperation is key, as players must carefully coordinate their loadouts, skills, suits, and weapon modifications. The game features 4-player co-op, challenging players to navigate procedurally sequenced levels in a roguelite gauntlet. Players will wield highly customizable, brine-powered weapons, infusing them with the power of ancient gods. 

The game offers eight weapons, which can be further modified with 45 attachments, allowing for diverse playstyles and tactical approaches. As players progress, they can upgrade their skills and suits, enhancing their capabilities and preparing them for the dangers that lie ahead. The game's combat is described as violent and fast-paced, demanding tactical coordination, precise positioning, and cohesive teamwork during every level.

Players will face 36 different enemies and four challenging bosses, testing their skills and teamwork in intense encounters. The developers describe violent imagery in the game, adding to its intense atmosphere. Besides that, there are no more complaints so far. Another thing to remember is that the game requires a powerful system to run without issues because of its 3D graphics and other effects.
