ZEPHON is similar to games like Europa Universalis IV, Old World, Crusader Kings III, and Wartales—which provide a strategy gameplay experience that allows you to fight for yourself and your companions. 

Features a unique tactical combat system 

In ZEPHON, players must explore a world that is on the brink of human extinction. In this game, you’ll encounter aliens, wildlife, and pieces of corrupted technology. These are the things that are threatening the survival of humans, leaving them fractured and desperate to make it alive. Here, nothing is left in the world, and everything feels unfamiliar. In this gameplay, you’ll control the survivors of humanity in a near-future alien apocalypse. 

As you traverse the world, you need to select your path from the various abominations of the Voice and the automata of ZEPHON. Aside from the game’s turn-based battle mechanics, the game also has city management elements. Additionally, gamers here need to gather their allies. Moreover, as this is a multiplayer game, you’re free to command over 50 unique units in the battle.  

Furthermore, the game allows players to plan out optimal build orders from the three paths: Human, Voice, and Cyber. You have the option too to combine these three. When it comes to the city management element of the game, you can optimize an empire-wide economy using the 11 resources provided in the game. However, as the game focuses on its survival element, it doesn’t have a character development feature.
