Yukichigai Unofficial Patch or YUP is a free mod made for Fallout: New Vegas. It serves as an unofficial patch for the game. If you’d prefer add-ons that place extra items and effects, you can try Minigun - 308 - SMMG 5.56 - 9mm Grease Gun - Scripted, S6S Breathing Mask Integration, Nevada Skies, and PowderGangers-Go-Boom.

This unofficial patch fixes several issues and bugs associated with the game that aren’t included in the official patch for this version. YUP has no external dependencies other than the main game. The gaming patch is available in different languages to suit players from all parts of the globe.

What does it fix?

The mod fixes several bugs such as female mesh correction in pimp-boy 3 billion so that it’s not at an angle, and doctors can cure Ultrajet addiction, and so on. Yukichigai Unofficial Patch is a compilation of other smaller patches and caters to the different issues, respectively. 

This patch is a pure bug fixer, meaning this mod doesn’t alter anything in the game other than the issue it is coded to fix. This allows you to enjoy the experience without losing any data after the fix takes place. The only time that this could happen is if the patch overrides the original script, which has not been the case with this bugfix. 

The mod is compatible with any other bugfix on the platform and won’t rewrite any of the fundamental codings unless necessary.

What doesn’t YUP fix?

There are a few issues that cannot be resolved with this bug fix, such as any bugs that require an NVSE is not included in this bug fix. If you want to resolve such issues, download another mod such as JohnnyGuitar NVSE.

YUP can be downloaded into your load folder and added to your system by inserting the directive in your load folder and placing it above the rest of your content. No DLC is required for this patch minimizing the program’s load on your CPU.
