For so long, I had avoided High Elf presets as the only way to make a game more interesting, and the reason is because of the incredible amount of time it takes to set up the best mods for the games. If I were to go into details about the procedure, I would probably have to write an entire novel, so I will not do that here. However, if you are looking for a good way to spice up your game and give it that little bit more life, then I highly recommend High Elf Preset. These are some of the most customizable and easy to use mods for skyrim that you can find anywhere online.

As a player who has always liked the vanilla game and its aesthetic as much as I could, I was looking for a way to add a bit of something different to the game without having to completely redo my whole skim experience. After testing High Elf presets out, I have to say that it takes the similar approach as the other mods I have seen made for skim but takes it one step further. While all of the other presets make me change certain things, High Elf Preset instead makes me change the look and feel of every cell in the game. What this means for you as a player is that all of your previous saved game settings are copied over, so you get to enjoy all the benefits of playing with the preset while being assured that none of your personal experience will be lost or altered in any way.

The other big benefit to using a Preset like High Elf Preset is that it is fully compatible with the official skim patch. This means that, unlike many other preset mods which are only supported by a specific game version, this preset will work on all versions of skyrim. I personally like to play skim version 1.2, so using Presets made for skyrim is extremely important to me because the game has really made drastic changes from the last version I played, which made many aspects of the game difficult. So even though there are other preset mods out there that are made specifically for a certain game version, I would always recommend using a Preset that was made for the latest game version, not version 1.2, simply because it will work more reliably and make playing skim a much more enjoyable experience.
