Worms W.M.D: Mobilize is a pay-to-play turn-based strategy game in which teams of worms battle across randomly generated destructible landscapes. Its nature of being a turn-based game means each team will alternately make their moves in attacking and defending themselves against the enemies.

They will have to use different types of weapons and unconventional elements such as the vehicles and landscapes objects in the game. Worms W.M.D: Mobilize offers both single and multiplayer modes, so players can experience the game according to their preferred gameplay. It also has customization options such as hats, sound banks, and victory dances.

Retro-style game with customization

Worms W.M.D: Mobilize offers a nostalgic take on the classic Worms gameplay experience. Its retro-inspired gameplay style is a refreshing break from the usual mobile game offerings. The game features a total of 30 missions, with 10 dedicated to training and 20 covering different styles, including Deathmatch, Vital Crate, and Vital Worm. Completing all missions with three stars provides an excellent challenge for both casual and experienced gamers. 

The game also allows players to customize their team of worms, from their appearance to the number of worms in a team. Players can even customize the number of teams taking part in a match. Players can use 50 different weapons and four varied vehicles, including a tank and a helicopter, to experiment with during gameplay. However, it does lack modern features that might not appeal to some players.

Aside from the lack of modern features, this game also doesn't allow you to craft weapons. That means you can only use the ones that are already made. Another downside is that it does not allow cross-platform play nor does it have asynchronous multiplayer. It also doesn't have chat features, which can make it difficult for players to communicate with each other when playing in multiplayer mode.

Nostalgic gameplay with limitations

Worms W.M.D: Mobilize offers a nostalgic and enjoyable gaming experience. With challenging missions, customizable teams, and a range of weapons and vehicles to choose from, it's a game that offers endless hours of fun. However, the lack of modern features — such as being unable to craft weapons, perform a cross-platform play, and talk with other players — can be deterring for new players.
