WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition is an action game developed and published by eduweb. This animal simulation game lets players experience the life of a wild wolf in an ecological environment that was based on the Yellowstone National Park. It's a remake of the original WolfQuest that was released back in 2013.

Anniversary Edition will initially include the first episode of the WolfQuest game. Apart from the updated graphics that it will bring, it will also introduce various new features and content that were not included in the original release. The expanded world spans from the Lamar River to the summit of Amethyst Mountain.

A realistic wolf survival sim 

The original WolfQuest game came out back in 2013, and it aimed to help players understand wolves and their role in nature. They were able to experience this by being virtually incarnated as a gray wolf themselves. It came out with a couple of episodes since its release, but has been renamed as WolfQuest: Classic as development for its remake, WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition, was announced and began.

The Anniversary Edition features notable graphical improvements, along with new features and additions of its own. Some of the things that you can expect are the additions of other wildlife animals like herds of elk, moose, beavers, and other prey. You'll also be competing against other predators like cougars and coyotes over spoils and territories. You can call on your pack for help with more expressive actions and audible sounds.

Multiplayer is still present here and allows you to create game sessions with friends and do co-op missions together. You can find mates, raise pups, and continue their lineage across generations—set against a backdrop of dynamic weather, realistic day–night cycles, and seasonal changes. However, as with many large-scale simulations, users report occasional technical issues. Additionally, some players report glitches, especially in multiplayer mode.

WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition is a remastered wildlife simulation that lets players experience life as a gray wolf in Yellowstone National Park.
