Witch Hunter + is a series of stories that are set in the dark ages where you have to battle monsters and fight your way through a story. The game is all text based, but there are a few images, and you get to click links to pick your character’s actions.

Choose the ending to your story

Witch Hunter + is like a digital version of the old “Choose Your Adventure” books where you would have to make choices and then flip to the page to find the result of your choice. Witch Hunter + runs you through a batch of text and then asks you to make a decision. It then takes you to the text where your decision has an impact on the story. Despite the developers saying that this game is an action-RPG story, it is not because you do not have to do repetitive actions such as restocking a fire with wood, but you do have an inventory to manage. You make decisions during the digital book, and you may look back on the decisions such as being able to see images of the monsters you defeated, and/or managing your health and items after a battle.

A fair entry into the RPG-book genre

Witch Hunter + has a free and a paid version. The paid version has more chapters (choices) than the free version, and the free version has adverts. Beware time-to-time there are more than one book to this series, so be aware that you may have to buy more of the books in order to follow the story through. The biggest problem with this book is that it is difficult to recap what you did last time, which means you may be a little confused if you cannot remember your version of the story from the last time.
