Users can search for various resources, including food pantries, homeless shelters, free health services, educational resources, and more. The app goes beyond being just a directory by sending users alerts about job fairs and community events. It also enables users to offer feedback and connects them to live assistance hotlines through the "I Need Help Now" page.

WIN caters to different demographics and provides specialized resources for veterans, LGBTQ individuals, foster youth, pregnant and/or parenting teens or adults. Users can search for programs based on their age, gender, or region within Los Angeles County, CA.

The app allows users to view human services near their location, with priority given to programs listed first. It also provides detailed information about each program, allowing users to find the best fit for their needs. Users can read or submit comments about their experiences, call or email agencies directly through the app, and get directions to chosen agencies.
