Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr - Hierophant Class is a multiplayer action game that adds an exciting layer of depth to the action-packed, top-down action RPG, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr. In Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr - Hierophant Class, as a Hierophant, you assume the role of an Inquisitor with a commanding presence, able to summon and lead a retinue of acolytes into battle, using faith and tactical prowess to eradicate heretics in the Caligari sector. 

A new class for the Inquisitor's arsenal 

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr - Hierophant Class' primary feature is its Retinue Management system, allowing you to fight alongside up to four AI companions: Crusader, Assassin, Psyker, and Battle Sister. These companions are more than just allies in combat — they can be customized, leveled up, and outfitted with their own gear. The new Orders Bar allows players to issue commands, directing their retinue’s behavior, from applying buffs to strategically altering their combat roles.  

In this game, the emphasis on teamwork and leadership provides a fresh dynamic for players who prefer to lead a squad rather than tackle missions alone. The Hierophant class comes with a suite of new features that enhance gameplay. For one, the Devotion points mechanic introduces a new resource system, allowing players to unleash devastating spells, creating tactical opportunities that can turn the tide of battle.  

These spells are diverse, ranging from area-of-effect purges to single-target annihilations, all designed to reflect the power of the emperor’s will. In addition to new spells, players can wield two unique off-hand weapons — the Dialogous Staff and Libram — both of which provide significant buffs to the Hierophant and their Retinue. However, the added layers of management — such as issuing orders, customizing companions, and managing a new resource system — can be overwhelming for newcomers.
