Vula Medical Referral is a free Android app developed by Mafami Pty Ltd, designed for medical professionals to make referrals and receive them. The app has undergone a complete transformation with new features and improved functionality. The app now allows you to join multiple teams, be on call for more than one team, and still have control over which team you prefer to be on call for. You can now add more people to a chat, which makes it easier to ask for a second opinion, including someone from a different specialty.

The inbox has been revamped, and saved cases and unread cases are now in separate inboxes for easy access. You can now mark cases as favorites and discuss them with colleagues or students. You can swipe left to archive or forward a case. The app now allows you to forward any referral to anyone who is set up to receive referrals, irrespective of their specialty. The app has introduced Instabug, which automatically takes a screenshot of where you are and sends the bug to the development team. Lastly, the app has made it easier to manage your profile, and you can now change your place of work if you're only sending referrals. However, if you receive referrals, you need team admin approval to change your workplace.
