Viking Rise is a free strategy game for mobile devices coming from IGG.COM. It is an online multiplayer Viking-themed city-builder. In it, players assume the role of leader of the tribe, and they will go on a quest to explore and conquer the land of Midgard.

Similar to the Lords Mobile game made by the same developer, Viking Rise mixes base-building with world exploration and real-time combat gameplay through lands, as well as the seas. The game also introduces some of the most recognized heroes from Norse mythology that players can call upon to help them in battle.

Conquer Midgard

In Viking Rise, you are in charge of leading your tribe in the vast world of Midgard. You'll start off gathering resources and building your first city. You can also go on monster hunts to gain rare items and materials for crafting and tame an ancient dragon to provide battlefield support. Sadly, the game suffers from performance and connectivity issues sometimes, which can detract from the experience.

Epic Norse adventure

If you like strategy games and Norse mythology, Viking Rise is an interesting title that combines both. It looks nice, offers engaging and strategic gameplay, and you can even call upon heroes to help you in battle. Just be wary of the performance requirements and connection issues, and you'll have a great time playing it. Suffice it to say, this one gets a recommendation.
