Veiled Edge is a premium action game for PC developed by Onw Studio Inc. This 2D side-scrolling platforming adventure is set in a futuristic world wherein technology lets people enter virtual realms. Players take on the role of investigators, looking deep into the effects and mysteries of this technology. 

Similar to games like Sanabi and BlazBlue Entropy Effect, players will explore a large map with multiple areas filled with unique characters to meet and secrets to discover. A demo version is available for newcomers to try out so they can get a sense of what to expect from the gameplay. 

Deep virtual dive 

Veiled Edge takes place in the year 2099, in a world wherein science and technology have thrived. Humanity has managed to develop Full Dive tech that allows people to have unique and vivid experiences in fully virtual realms. You play as Investigator Rapid, and together with your partner Lena, will dive into the worlds created by this technological marvel and solve a series of connected crimes happening within. 

A dark and interwoven plot will unfold across multiple chapters as you look into the crimes and follow the clues left behind. With the help of your hacker friend, Lena, you will navigate maze-like levels, overcoming platforming challenges and solving puzzles. Veiled Edge allows for multiple ways to progress through the story, so there is no one solution, and you can employ different methods. 

Aside from your investigation and discovering the secrets of Full Dive, you will meet a colorful cast of characters with unique stories to tell. You can also engage in some side activities like mini-games to break from your usual gameplay. Before diving in, just be aware that the game is still in Early Access, so it's not complete yet, and development is ongoing.
