A closure to the story 

United Assault - Final Stand is set in a meticulously recreated Obersalzberg. The DLC offers an open-world rogue-lite FPS experience. Players will navigate through authentic reconstructions of significant locations, including the Berghof — the Führer's mountain residence and the Kehlsteinhaus (Eagle’s Nest), alongside an extensive network of bunker complexes. The terrain emphasizes exploration, requiring strategic thinking and tactical advantage to uncover hidden secrets and complete objectives. 

The game is set in the final events of World War II, following closely what happened while delivering a faithful and exciting action shooter experience. However, the previous problems in this game still carry on to its expansion, with the weak artificial intelligence that makes the gun play a bit too easy. Moreover, some players point out the poor optimization the base game has while having average graphics, which carries over to the expansion. 

Incorporating rogue-lite elements, this DLC introduces procedurally generated challenges and objectives, enhancing replayability. The DLC also boasts a vast array of secret locations and hidden areas, adding depth to each mission. Players can expect an immersive World War II combat experience with existing weaponry and realistic enemy AI. For its price and content, this expansion is reasonable and delivers a good conclusion to the historical action that transpired. 

A decent conclusion to a historic journey 

United Assault – Final Stand offers a satisfying sendoff to the United Assault experience with historically faithful settings and a solid variety of missions. While it maintains the core formula, its weak AI and optimization issues persist from the base game. Despite these flaws, the DLC provides a strong atmosphere and replayable challenges that fans of the series and WWII shooters may still appreciate.
