Ultimate Combat SE is a free fighting-system overhaul mod for Skyrim Special Edition. It adds new attack modes and effects, making it easier to play with a more challenging difficulty. The main purpose is to make fight scenes more realistic and enjoyable. Similar mods include Combo Combat, Valravn - Integrated Combat of Skyrim, Unique Uniques, and Skysa Grip Switch.

Infighting Shield expands your magic charge with timed blocks, and you’ll damage the enemy’s stamina and cause them to fall back. Stepping forward during an attack increases damage.

Other top features

When you attack a specific part of a body, it now has a resulting effect. You’ll see new damage effects when targeting the head, arms, or legs with a crossbow or bow. The blocking ability lets you attack at the same time. Some races have specific speed, stats, and attack bonuses relative to their class.

Ultimate Combat SE improves the original fighting system in Skyrim Special Edition, making it more enjoyable to play for veteran gamers. The new animations look incredible, and you’ll feel a greater victory when killing opponents. For the mod to work, you need the latest game of Skyrim and launcher versions of SKSE and SkyUI.
