KS Hairdos is a Skyrim mod that comes with more than 900 hairstyles. Out of these, 830 are intended for female characters, while 92 are meant for male players. In this modification, the hairstyles have been retextured to ensure a more realistic look. However, it’s worth mentioning that the hairstyles don’t fit all the body types.

The free mod download also features retexture settings to modify saturation, hue, and other elements for popular hairstyles. The hairstyles have a mix of blonde, brunette, and black tones to the color scheme. Compared to RaceMenu, Skyrim Together, and Creation Kit, this Skyrim modification lets you improve the character’s appearance even further and makes the game more fun.

Easy installation and set up for Skyrim

KS Hairdos can be used with any NPC and follower mods. This Skyrim mod can also be used on NPCs in city overhauls, quest mods, etc. You only need to open the console and type in the mod name. Simply close the console and you’re ready to play the game with new hairstyles.

How to install KS Hairdos?

Unlike most other mod downloads, installing this one is quite simple. For manual installation, you can extract the file and drop it into the data folder. When prompted, you can overwrite the existing file. If you’re using a mod manager like Mod Organizer, you can place this Skyrim modification under ‘KS Hairdos’ in the Mod Order List.

A similar process can be followed with the Nexus Mod Manager. However, you might experience a few lags or crashes. Since this is a lightweight modification, it doesn’t affect system resources. As such, KS Hairdos is compatible with even older Windows PCs.

A good choice to give a different look to characters

When it comes to Skyrim mods that change character appearances, this is considered to be one of the most popular choices. It’s important to note that KS Hairdos offers support for elves too. It’s also compatible with PCs as well as Xbox One. Once you start using this Skyrim modification, you won’t be disappointed.
